Jena Parsons is a remote editor in Nova Scotia specializing in copy and stylistic editing. Before retraining as a professional editor, she taught literature and writing as a successful English teacher for fifteen years. More about me…

I am originally from Nova Scotia, but I have spent most of my adult life in Alberta, where I live with my husband and two young sons.

I have a Certificate in Editing from the esteemed Marketing and Communications Program at Simon Fraser University and hold a BA and a BEd from Mount Saint Vincent University in Halifax. I am also a member of Editors Canada, the governing body that sets editing standards in this country.

Curling up with a good book and a latte is a favorite past time of mine. A creative at heart, I relish time to read, write, and play guitar. Recently, I’ve ventured into training for a triathlon because it makes exercise non-negotiable and I enjoy a good challenge!

My focus as an editor is to build a professional relationship with you and support you on your writing journey. I am especially fond of working with indie writers, and I welcome Christian authors who are looking for someone with a faith background to support their writing.
